Family stop

Dear Briggz,

We decided that we should take time to visit some family along the trip through Washington.  Auntie Florence and Uncle King live just north of Seattle in a town called Lynnwood. We were able to see our cousin Karen and her husband Ron, cousin Anthony and his wife Jackie, and cousins Diane and her son Tyler.
Auntie Florence is awesome. She was keen on trying to spoil us! She made us huge breakfasts and for dinner we went to a couple of buffets for all you can eat. We must have looked a little thin.  Her Lemon cake is unreal! I asked mom to make it for my birthday.
One day we took a trip into Seattle and rode the Ferris wheel on the pier. Pikes Market was cool with all the fish vendors. We also took time to visit the space needle prior to having dinner at a great pizza place with Anthony and Jackie. After dinner they showed us a few other sites in and around the city.

We made a special trip to the ballpark, Safeco Field, to watch the Seattle Mariners play. In between a set of innings we were spotted in the crowd by the cameraman and put up on the “Jumbotron”. After the game J, A, and I were able to run the bases. That was a lot of fun. Dinner that night was a BBQ at Karen and Ron’s house. The food was delicious. Prior to eating though, I was able to play with their bunnies and Ron has an electronic dart game that my brothers and I took turns challenging each other in.
Mom and Dad really liked Seattle. The city lights combined with the waters of Puget Sound reminded them of how much they like that atmosphere.

I miss you a ton and I hope that you are being good.

                                                                                                Love,
                                                                                                            C
